OUR DISTRICT 

Fire
Division

Volunteers are trained in firefighting techniques and are equipped to respond to various fire emergencies, working to safeguard lives and property across the 135-square-mile area.

Support 
Division

The volunteer Support Division provides  administrative assistance. Coordinating volunteer efforts, managing equipment maintenance, and organizing community outreach and training programs. 

Mist-Birkenfeld RFPD is the very most Northwest fire district in Columbia County, Oregon.  It encompasses 135 square miles and supports a local population of approximately 1,388 people. The district is also responsible to provide emergency medical assistance and Ambulance transport for 165 square miles.

EMS 
Division

With the dedicated help volunteers trained as EMS, this division ensures responses to medical emergencies, providing vital assistance to the 1,388 residents within the district.

Rescue Division 

The volunteer Rescue Division specializes in technical rescue operations, including water rescues and search and rescue missions.
